Animal Care Specialists at the Reindeer Farm
Description
$13-$17 per hour, DOE
An Animal Care Specialist has the ability to (1) CARE FOR THE ANIMALS and (2) SHARE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM. The perfect candidate would be comfortable work around animals including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures. They would also be comfortable talking to the public about each animal and what makes them unique.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep pens clean
- Watering animals
- Informing the public on animal information
- Assisting the public to interact with animals safely

Barista/ Food Trailer Worker at the Reindeer Farm
Description
$13-$17 per hour plus tips, DOE
A Barista/ Food Trailer Worker takes orders, preps food and work station, and provides a delicious quality product consistently. They would be comfortable making drinks, operating an espresso machine, and operating other kitchen machinery (Hot Dog machine, milkshake machine, panini press, etc.)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Taking orders
- Handling cash and credit cards
- Cleaning up work station
- Prepping food
- Making food to order
- Cleaning up at the end of the day
- Reporting inventory (so manager can restock)
- Reporting food waste at the end of each day
Desired Qualities

- Experience with food prep or barista preferred but not necessary
Tractor Wagon Driver at the Reindeer Farm
Description
$15-$20 per hour, DOE
Tractor Wagon Driver will drive the tractor for guests and talk to them briefly about the history of the farm and the area. The Tractor Wagon Driver will also monitor the kid play area and report any injuries or assist guests as needed, The perfect candidate would be comfortable working around animals including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures. They would also be comfortable talking to the public about each animal and what makes them unique.

Tractor Wagon Driver must be 18 years of age for liability reasons. Tractor Wagon Driver must be able to drive or learn to drive a tractor safely and ensure passengers load and unload safely.

Reptile Expert at the Reindeer Farm
Description
$13-$17 per hour, DOE
A Reptile Expert has the ability to (1) CARE FOR THE ANIMALS and (2) PROVIDE A SAFE EXPERIENCE TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS. The perfect candidate would be comfortable working around reptiles and exotics including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures. They would also be comfortable talking to the public about each animal and what makes them unique.
The Reptile Expert would be responsible for making sure interactions between a human (particularly children) and animals are safe. Safety of guests and animals is our highest priority. Reptile Expert must be confident and comfortable enough to give instructions to guests about animals interactions. Reptiles Experts must be at least 16 years of age for liability reasons.

Farm Hand at the Reindeer Farm
Description
$14-$20 per hour, DOE
Farm Hands help maintain the farm grounds and care for the animals. Farm Hands conduct a variety of projects on the farm including fencing, building shelters, and repairing existing buildings. Farm Hands may also find themselves decorating for Christmas, weed whacking, mowing, and mucking animal stalls.
This job is has a variety of responsibilities. The best fit for this position is someone flexible, that can work independently, and complete tasks by following directions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Minor Repairs to farm buildings and fences
- Check water and feed in pens and fill as needed
- Identify and detect health issues within the herd, report to supervisor
- Handling animals
- Operating tractor and other farm equipment safely
- Maintaining farm equipment as needed
- Installing new fencing, gates, and shelters
- Cleaning pens and feed areas
- Landscaping around farm
- Mowing and weeding
- Give tractor rides and help with your groups as needed
- Cutting and gathering Willow

Landscape Maintenance will be helping us maintain the grounds of the farm. This is important to protect the health of the animals and comfort of our guests.
This job includes mowing, weed eating, hand weeding, and poop scooping. Landscape Maintenance may also be called upon to help with other farm projects. The best fit for this position is someone flexible, that can work independently, and complete tasks by following directions.
